Do Not Drink … Gamble!

If you enjoy a beverage from time to time, leave your money out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks at home. Grab whatever money you anticipate to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you intend to squander and leave the rest behind.

Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You might have a profit following a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Keep that story because it is as brief as it gets if you consistently drink and wager. The two just don’t mix.

Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a bit excessive, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is required. If you play to profit, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your cash without a concern, then consume all the free beer you are able to handle, but don’t pack credit cards and cheques to toss into the mix of going after losses after your drunken brain squanders every little thing!

Let me to take this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop online to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my condo, however since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and wager.

Why? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it is clearly adequate to blur my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
